Sienna Blok
Multidisciplinary Artist based in Adelaide, South Australia
Sienna is an emerging Artist local to Adelaide, South Australia. Linocut printmaking is central to her practice. Sienna graduated from a Bachelor of Contemporary Art in 2019 and in 2020 she completed a Bachelor of Art and Design (Honours) at the University of South Australia, focusing her project on the material culture of ceramics within Australia in the 19th century.
Sienna's process of lino cutting is spontaneous, and she is fascinated by the challenges and limitations that accompany the medium; to produce a two-dimensional artwork through a process that is craft-oriented, employing black and white exclusively as tools to create an impactful image. Sienna is intrigued by Australian iconography and portraiture.
Sienna currently works at the iconic Jam Factory at the Lion Arts Centre as a Retail/Gallery Assistant.
