Sienna Blok

Multidisciplinary Artist based in Adelaide, South Australia

Sienna is an emerging Artist and recent graduate of a Bachelor of Contemporary Art at the University of South Australia. She is currently undertaking her Honours in Art and Design. She is focusing her project on ceramics and cultural representation in ceramic artefacts from postcolonial Australia. Outside of Honours, acrylic painting and linocut printmaking are also central to her practice.

Sienna's process of lino cutting is spontaneous, and she is intrigued by the challenges and limitations that accompany the medium; to produce a two-dimensional artwork through a process that is craft-oriented, employing black and white exclusively as tools to create an impactful image.

Sienna currently works at the iconic Jam Factory at the Lion Arts Centre as a Retail/Gallery Assistant.
