Join me at Port Burger in Port Noarlunga for a relaxed, hands-on session where you’ll learn the basics of linocut printmaking and create your own prints to take home! Perfect for beginners, this workshop is all about having fun, experimenting with simple techniques, and discovering the magic of printmaking (and if you can indulge in a delicious cocktail at the same time - why not!).
No experience needed — just bring your creativity and we’ll provide everything else. All materials supplied. Enjoy step-by-step guidance on creating, carving, inking, and printing your own design. For those who are not confident at drawing, never fear! Plenty of reference images and tracing paper are provided and you will be taught how to transfer your traced drawing onto your lino.
For your lino print, you will have the option to choose from 3 themes, with plenty of reference images and inspo provided for each theme. To go with the venue and location at the beautiful Port Noarlunga, the 3 themes to choose from will be Coastal, Oceanic and Food & Drink.
You’ll be able to take home 4 of your own prints at the end of the session - Great for gifting unique handmade artworks to your loved ones!
Workshop runs for 3.5 hours from 12-3.30pm including a 30min break for lunch (food and drink from Port Burger are not included in the ticket price).
